A real estate agent over in San Francisco has her own blog called “Organic Realtor“. It’s kind of interesting, though pretty heavy on the “contact-me-for-help-with-anything” stuff. Anyway, she’s included a question from a seller – “How important are property photos to selling my house?” Here’s what she says:
Ok, I’ve just gotta say something here. An agent might be highly experienced, but that doesn’t make them a photographer. They might be experienced … for years and years they’ve been taken really, really bad photos of houses (like this one). Look, if it’s necessary to hire a professional real estate agent to get the job done properly, then it’s necessary to hire a professional photographer. Why? So that you can market your home properly and get the best price possible.
